Today is Thursday. Which means I should be posting the Crafting my Life post. However, due to technical issues, that post actually ran yesterday.
It was a really great post, though. So if you’re here today looking for your daily dose of inspiration, you should read it. Check it out: You are Not Alone.
So, what happened? As I’ve explained a few times in the past, I don’t get up every morning at 6:00am Pacific time to publish my posts. Instead, through the wonder of technology, I write several posts when I have the time and schedule them to publish once a day. Of course, sometimes, the whole thing falls apart. I calculate the date wrong, or Bob, the little man who lives inside the internet and makes sure that everything works goes on a drinking binge.
Jacob demonstrates how Bob navigates the series of tubes that is the internet
The problem is that I am not awake at 6:00am. I am still trying to sleep while children jump on me. So by the time that I realize there’s a problem, it’s too late. The post has been sent, and people have read it. Taking it down would just be weird. And so yesterday, you got two posts. Today, you’re getting one rambling explanation / excuse for a post.
Some days are like that.
If you need some more entertainment, and the link to the post I meant to publish today isn’t doing it for you, I have this whole other blog over at Crafting my Life. It’s full of intentional living goodness. Or you can read some of these snazzy guest posts I published on other blogs that you may have missed:
- Crunchy Domestic Goddess: The Last Time I Breastfed
- A Lot of Loves: Crunchy Granola Supermom is Dead
- Coffees and Commutes: On Being an Artist
- Work It, Mom: Tips for Planning a Green Birthday Party
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go and have a chat with Bob. We need to work out some stuff, so that this doesn’t happen again.
