Phantom Baby Kicks

I remember being about three months pregnant with my daughter, Hannah. I read somewhere that my baby was about the size of a mouse. That seemed pretty big to me, compared to the earlier size comparisons like apple seed or kidney bean. A mouse is a full-blown mammal, after all, and I would definitely feel one if it decided to run around on top of my belly. And yet, here I was with something mouse-sized inside my belly, and I couldn’t feel a thing. I tried lying flat on my back and not moving a muscle. I tried poking myself to see if anything poked back. I concentrated on every little hiccup, and still nothing.

Of course, eventually I did feel Hannah move. And three and a half years later, when I was pregnant again, I had a similar experience with her brother Jacob. His placenta was at the front, so even though it was my second pregnancy I didn’t feel him until it was nearly half over. I laid down, I poked, I wiggled this way and that, and I couldn’t feel anything. I waited with baited breath, eagerly anticipating those first little flutters. While they did eventually come, it took far longer than I felt it should.

After Jacob was born, though, things changed. All of those fluttery little kicks that I couldn’t feel during pregnancy suddenly started cropping up all over the place. I have been decidedly not pregnant for over three years now, and yet on a daily basis I feel some kind of flutter that causes my hand to move to my belly. Sometimes they’re so strong that I can actually feel them with my hand from the outside.

I’ve always had something of an odd fear of being pregnant and not knowing it. Long before they made a TV show dedicated to the phenomenon (a show I have never seen, by the way, because I don’t need to feed the fear), I saw a story on a newsmagazine about a woman who went into labour, not ever having realized that she was pregnant. It stuck with me. This fear has led me to take far more home pregnancy tests than is strictly reasonable, because I don’t want to end up on a reality show myself. I have to tell you, the phantom baby kicks do not help with the situation.

I did a little bit of digging, and it turns out that I’m not alone. Many, many moms seem to feel phantom baby kicks many weeks, months and even years after giving birth. You can read story after story after story about them. Some people claim they’re caused by gas, some by muscle spasms and some by your nerves firing.

It seems that most people who feel phantom baby kicks are people who’ve already had babies. Maybe it’s because we spent all that time straining to feel a kick that some part of our brain has become hyper-vigilant. Maybe the way that our stomach muscles stretched has made them thinner, which makes it easier for us to feel whatever’s going on in our abdomens more easily. Or maybe it’s like people who feel phantom limbs long after they’ve been amputated. But whatever causes those phantom baby kicks, they’re definitely real. You just may want to refrain from rubbing your belly when you have them, lest you want to answer some uncomfortable questions about your non-existent due date.

So, tell me – do you experience phantom baby kicks? How old are your kids? And do you have an irrational fear of being pregnant and not knowing it? I’d love to hear!

  1. No phantom baby kicks here! But all this post made me think about was how much I’d love to have a third baby and what an amazing, perfect surprise it would be to suddenly be 99% done with pregnancy:)

  2. Ha, I am pregnant but can’t believe it. Sort of the opposite of you, I guess.

This baby does not seem to knock about quite so much as the Critter did. (Ergo, the baby will be a calmer child than the Critter? Oh, I hope so.) Plus, I have an anterior placenta this time. But my husband actually felt a kick for the first time last night!

  3. I thought that I was alone on this. I remember clearly, three months after giving birth, feeling a flutter-like kick exactly like I felt early in the pregnancy. This freaked me out because I was late taking my birth control pill earlier that month. Now my “baby” is 2-years-old, and I occasionally feel a bit of a “shock” (not really a kick but something strong enough to shock you, that’s how almost all the early kicks felt like for me), but I feel better knowing it’s normal.

    • SarahTexas says:

      I think I found a solution.

After doing research, I suspect the problem is a parasite. Giardia is spread through water and causes our intestines to be irritated and kinda pop, hence the baby kicking sensation. If I remember the medical paper correctly, garlic paralyzes them.

So to test my theory, I bought garlic pills (cheap). I took (3) 1000 mg pills twice per day for about 10 days. After the 4th day, for me, the kicking stopped. I followed through to the 10th day to be sure they would die. No problems since. So I would say, give the garlic a shot. If the ‘kicking’ stops, then you know it was the parasite.

  4. >do you experience phantom baby kicks?

Yes! they are less & less frequent with time, but I do still every now & then feel one, and it makes me do a double-take. Freaky.

    >How old are your kids?

FOUR & A HALF and SEVEN!

    >And do you have an irrational fear of being pregnant and not knowing it?

Yes. DH had a vasectomy 2 years ago, and I still get concerned. Blargh.

    • I know I am not pregnant and it’s been six years since my last child. And up until about 6 months ago I had never felt anything like that feeling accept when I was pregnant. Mine aren’t flutters mine are strong my husband and I can both feel it when it happens. Sometimes I can feel them for a few days straight and then nothing for a couple of weeks. Then I might feel them all day long and they disappear. I read post after post about women feeling them and yet know one has a clue as to what they really are.

So glad you posted this reply. I was starting to think I was going crazy. I’ve had this going on for days now. Husband had the big V 8 years ago, but I can visibly SEE them. So strange!

      • Ive had these again the past few days its in the same spot and feels like a baby kicking I even watched it moving last night freaky very freaky . Had my tubes clamped back in 2001 no way im prego but this is really stange. Gas is all I could think it wpuld be.

        • i am having flutters and kicks lower back n stomach pain, that prego hungry feeling and swollen boobs, but i cant have anymore kids!! tubs tied burnt clipped and a ruptured uterus n nt to mention a period!!! i would love to know why i feel pregnant when i know im NOT~!!!~

          • Mamie5214 says:

Im not pregnant im sixteen and on the depo shot, but for the past 4 months it has felt like a baby kicking i think i had a miscarriage about 5 months ago i dont know whats going on i have really sharp pain with my kicks and the are only on my left side

      • I’ve now been experiencing “baby kicks,” for the last three days. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby since June 2014 all my pregnancy tests have came back negative and I’ve have irregular if not regular periods since then. I’m so confused because it’s been so long since i”ve had a baby and i highly doubt this is gas. My husband feels them too

      • My last pregnancy was 5 yrs ago. I had my tubes tide up so im not suppose to come out pregn. But for the past five yrs thats all I feel lots of movements that you could feel n see it too from the outside. Had my gallbladder taken out 2 weeks after the c-section. Had spine surgery a yr ago n lost all my weight flat stomach I was looking like a crackhead and 2 months ago I gained my weight from the night to the morning my belly looks like im 5 months pregnant feel all the movements n kicking of a baby BUT IM NOT PREGNANT…. so I think I am but TV is my baby’s spirit in me. Back in 2003 I had a baby boy and he passed away 2hrs later I was so druged up cuz it was an emergency c-section so I couldn’t b wiff him for those 2 hrs. So I think is him who is in my belly. Doctors say is my muscles or gas or im full with crap I know thats not it. But I guess I will never know.

        • Sorry “TV” wasnt the word I meant “think”. N not only I feel the movements n kicking I have the symptoms of pregnancy also. ?. Is sickening you dnt know the pain I feel from so much vomiting.

  5. My kids are 6, 4 and 2. I do feel phantom baby kicks once in awhile, I’m glad I’m not the only one! I remember them being very frequent when I took my doula training.
I don’t have a fear of being pregnant and not knowing it because it was very obvious every time. My husband’s had a vasectomy too, so I don’t think it’s going to happen.

  6. I get them now and again and they sure do feel like baby kicks. I do miss that feeling, but I definitely don’t want another since my one and only is almost 14. I have no fear in another pregnancy as it won’t ever happen.

  7. Yes! Yes! and Yes!
Every once in a while I feel the exact flutter of baby movement… it totally freaks me out!

My kids are 13 and 6. We are definitely done having kids. My hubby has even had a vasectomy, but I still wonder if maybe I could be pregnant and not know it! Not all the time, but it does randomly cross my mind!

Thanks for bringing this up! Good to know that there are others who get these feelings, too!

  8. Yes. And there is NOTHING IRRATIONAL about fearing being pregnant and not knowing it – you don’t want people like me distracting themselves from their workout pain by mocking you mercilessly on that reality show, right? Right.

  9. Clare Adams says:

No, I almost wish I did though as I was lucky enough to enjoy 2 blissful pregnancies and while quite happy to stick with 2 kids, I would love to feel that feeling again – it’s like nothing else, that wonderful, intimate and reassuring little flutter!

On the other hand, just earlier this year, I knew a young girl who went to the doctors and was told she was 31 weeks. She was just getting her head around the fact that she was going to be a Mom in 9 weeks, when, no, baby decided to come 8 weeks early! Imagine! Both Mom & Babe are doing awesome, but it was quite something to see first-hand. I’ve had 2 kids and I had no idea she was 30 weeks pregnant!!!!

  10. Good lord I thought I was nuts. Actually, I thought that what I thought were baby kicks when I was pregnant weren’t because I’m still feeling them. Although, I didn’t feel them before I got pregnant with the one that stuck, so then I’d feel I broke my uterus. *g*
As for the irrational fear of being pregnant – no. I’d love to be pregnant again. I just can’t get that way without a whole bunch of help heh.

  11. I do. Child-free and not pregnant. Sure is odd.

  12. I had them just a couple of weeks ago! And I was late on my period, so I was kind of freaking out, but seriously, what baby kicks at 5 weeks? Period came and we’re all good over here.

When I first started feeling them, they felt so real, but I had no good explanation, so I assumed they were gas. And then, when I was pregnant with my second, I would fret over my son’s kicks at 17 weeks: were they real kicks or gas? Because I apparently can’t tell the difference! But now knowing that phantom kicks happen, I’m going to go with that.

  13. oh yes, I know those phantom baby kicks and phantom let-downs too!
I have decidedly NOT been pregnant for 10 years now, but I still get the little bumps and cramps and tingles that I did during those blessed months that my wee ones had control of my bodily reactions.
I loved feeling the kicks and rolls (except in the leg nerves, bladder or ribcage) so maybe my body is trying to make me nostalgic or something. And the ghost let downs have me hugging my arms close around my chest every time I hear a baby make hungry noises (even this long afterwards)… weirdness.

  14. I get those ALL THE TIME. I’m pregnant again now, but I’m almost certain I’m not far enough along to feel any kicking. Must be just my gurgly gut!

I also get phantom contractions, though I do believe they’re real. Whenever I might have gotten a cramp before — during my period, after sex, while nursing — I now feel something just like a little Braxton-Hicks contraction. Since I had them for three months, I’m very familiar with the feeling! And I don’t mind them … it’s much more comfortable than period cramps.

  18. O i get these everyday now for about the last month. I have an IUD and have taken several tests all negative. My youngest is 3 and i just started feeling movement about a month ago along with cramping

  19. I started them not long after declan was born, put it down to him bein early and psychologically thinkin I was still pregnant, then they stopped when he got out of hospital 5 weeks later, now he’s 5 months they’ve started again. Oh’s face when I clutched belly and went ow I’m sure I just felt a kick. I know I’m def not pregnant but its nice as I do miss bump. I’ve always been scared of being pregnant and not knowing too many stories in magazines! Plus it happened to my friend, she found out at 7 months after being treated for an illness for 6 months that turned out to be just pregnancy :-s

  20. My kids are in their teens and yes I still get phantom kicks. It used to be weird but now a days it’s common. It doesn’t happen every day yet is still does.

  21. Omg I thought I was crazy my baby is 7 months and she is my first so I have been freaking out I feel them all day !

  22. my baby is 5 months old and i feel them.. soo weird.. thought i was going nutz! glad im not the only one lol

  23. My son is 6 months old and I’ve been feeling phantom kicks for about 2 months. I have such a fear that I’m pregnant and not knowing mostly because I drink some alcohol (not a lot, but enough to be worried if I were pregnant.) and I smoke cigarettes. I’m glad I stumbled across your blog because I’ve been a wreck!

  24. I just came across this site after typing into google phantom baby kicks. Because I’m having them loads, its so weird I even think I can feel them from the outside of my belly. Like yourself I have such a fear of bbeing one of those women who are suddenly in labour and unknowingly having a baby. I have a 9 month old little girl and I really don’t feel I could cope with another baby yet. Its the weirdest feeling, I keep telling myself its muscle spasms or nerves twitching but I just can’t shift the thought I may be pregnant even though iv taken tests. You also hear of women having negative test after negative test and still being pregnant, that scares me too. Your not alone x x x

  25. Lisa Moore says:

My son it 17 months old and I have those feelings regularly but this evening they were so strong I jumped and touched my stomach and just sat there in disbelief!! It’s a strange feeling!!

  26. I am so happy I am not alone on this. I had my son two years ago and I’ve been feeling this phantom baby for almost a year. I was told I can’t have babies anymore because of the complications I had from having my son. This is a daily fear. I’ve had a therapist for it. Thinking it was some weird form of post traumatic stress disorder (which I did have after my son was born from the blood loss and such) but after the depression left it was replaced with this phantom baby. I am turning 20this year and even though they said it was impossible for me to get pregnant again it still scares the crap out of me. It feels so real how could it be gas?! But I have also taken many pregnancy tests and nothing. So I am happy I am not.. But then I turn into an irrational (hypochondriac) and I believe that I have cancer or I was reading about parasites … The parasites thing was the creepiest by far. That’s a real possibility. A tapeworm .. I’ve been gaining weight gradually but people around me say that my face looks thinner. Because I am SO scared of that possibility.. I refuse to go to the doctor. How many people want to know a worm has been eating all your food and taking poops in your intestines? πŸ™ gah, I will probably go to the doctors if the kicks get worse.

    • I really doubt it’s a tape worm, but if it would give you peace of mind, going to the doctor may be a good idea.

My second “baby” is 4.5 years old now, and I still feel the kicks. Plus, this is one of the most-viewed and most-commented posts on my blog. So I think you’re in good company. We’re not pregnant and we don’t have parasites. Just phantom kicks!

My one and only daughter is almost 3 now. And I noticed right after her birth, i was feeling these things. But I figured that it was just because everything wasn’t back in its original place yet. But it definitely still felt like my baby was still in there kicking all the time. Ever since then, I would get them every so often. But here recently, I haven’t felt them. Until last night. I was sitting in a chair holding my daughter while she slept, and I just felt kick after kick after kick. It was just like i was 6 months pregnant and the baby was kicking hardcore in there. It stopped me in my tracks and freaked me out alot. Then I went to lay down and they started getting stronger. Until I changed out of my blue jeans into some comfy shorts. I went to sleep and woke up and they are still there now. And im on my period, which makes it even more crazy.

  28. ugghh i’m almost relieved i found this ! i’ve been super paranoid about being pregnant lately and the last few days i’ve been feeling “baby kicks” .. i think i’m going crazy ! took a pregnancy test with my first pee this morning and made sure i followed the instructions to the T and it was 110% negative. i think the people that actually go so far without knowing their pregnant just share their stories more than the ones that don’t, of course. so while in the ‘internet world’ it seems like there’s SO many ladies that didn’t know they were pregnant, I’m positive the actual percentage is fairly low. I’m a total anxiety-freak and worrier, though. So I’m sure I’ll continue to do so .. hehe. I would go get an ultrasound if I had insurance and they would cover it! I feel like I’ll never have sex again until I’m ready for baby number two! Ah!

  29. My son is 5 now, and I’m not pregnant. I started a diet, the slim fast one about two weeks ago and just a few days/a week ago I started getting phantom kicking going on. It’s not just in one place but all over my stomach. Best i can think is either it’s gas, which has been more then normal, or since I have lost like 10 lbs I’m wondering if it has to do with fat displacement/redispersal? Just a thought since I’ve never had this before and it didn’t start till after I started losing weight.

  30. I have 3 kids ages 5, 3, and 10 months. I too get several phantom kicks since my kids were born. I also have a fear of being pregnant w/o knowing it, lol! Especially since with my last baby, home PG tests read negative and eventually I got tested at my Dr clinic bc I just knew that I was pregnant! We are taking a break for now, but would eventually like more kids.We (I) need a little bit of a break, so I freak out every time I feel those phantom kicks!! Haha…good to know Im not alone with these feelings! πŸ™‚

  31. I have one child turning 7 in January. Today I’m noticing these phantom fetal movements and I’m on day 1 of my period which makes it even stranger. I’m noticing though that my cramps this time are almost unbearable and shoot pain down my legs. I was laying on my side and felt something rub again my ribs a few times and then beside my belly button.

When ur pregnant, you never forget that indescribably uncomfortable feeling when your baby kicks or drags their foot against the inside of your ribcage. That’s what it kind of felt like and its scaring me a bit cause there’s no way I am pregnant. But just like your fear and being pregnant and not knowing that’s what I automatically think of and it freaks me out. Then I think of ectopic pregnancy which also scares the crap out of me.

  32. Lol, yes! Glad to hear I am not the only one.

  34. I just had this happen yesterday, totally startled me as my kids are 12 and 6, and we have no plans to have any more. Unlike many of you, I am 52 years old (a very young looking one I might add). Recently (past 2 months), I began to feel sensations like baby kicks in my lower abdomen, center just above the pubic hairs. I KNOW that I’m not pregnant although I have not yet reached menopause but the sensations are definite mirrors of early pregnancy kicks. Anyone else my age going through this?

    • Hi there Beverly, I’ve been having the same thing. I too am 52 and had a hysterectomy mid thirties. I was laying on the sofa and telling my daughter in Australia who is 20 weeks pregnant with her second one that it felt like a baby was kicking inside me. I said maybe I’m having sympathy symptoms, she said it was probably gas but I said i noticed it the night before too. I didn’t tell her, but it doesn’t feel like gas. It doesn’t hurt, it’s just strange. I haven’t had that sensation for 26 years. Have you found out what it is? Has yours gone away?

  36. Hey, first comment of 2014! I’ll take it. πŸ˜‰

I came across this article because I felt the phantom kicks (which I’ve always noticed while not pregnant since I had my first, 5 years ago) but today I felt it, like you, from the outside and that creeped me out just a bit!!! It kept happening just under my left rib and it seemed to pretty substantial so I checked with my hand to see if I could feel anything and I did! That’s a first for me! I have 3 kiddos (5, 3, and 1) and I do have a fear of finding out I’m pregnant despite my IUD, but mainly because THREE KIDS are MORE than enough for me!!! I don’t know how on earth I’d manage four! πŸ˜‰

  37. I get the phantom kicks alot. My son is almost 10 months old. I resaerched this which is where I came across this as it woke me up from a nap today. FREAKED me out.
Yes, I am terrified to think i could have an unknown pregnancy. As I am about 40 lbs heavier than what i was when I got pregnant with my son and I have still yet to lose my post baby baby bump. I still look about 5-6 months pregnant.

I’ve started to feel the phantom kicking about 5 months ago. My daughter is 10 months old. I have gained weight after I lost my pregnancy weight, I’ve also been craving certain foods. I’ve taken pee tests and they were all negative.

  39. I just started having these a few days ago . My twins are almost 9 years old. Glad to know that nothing is abnormal here. They are pretty low to be real flutter kicks like I had while pg with my girls. Brings back memories. I hope they never stop .

  40. Well let’s start from the beginning I am 27 a mother of three and have had a tubal ligation June 2012 recently like a week or so ago I started feeling kicking it freaked me out made me start thinking and I’ve realized my periods have been coming earlier than normal and shorter and lighter my back hurts my feet hurt my breasts get that shooting pain feeling I crave foods like oysters and clam chowder and today I ate a whole pineapple to myself well since I’ve felt these kicks and sometimes it’s not just kicks it’s almost like a baby rolling around inside me I’ve taken a few home pg tests all negative and went to the dr and neg urine and blood then I come home still feeling very pregnant so I’m doing my research to find out that lots of people have issues with neg test results and are in fact actually pregnant. I am really starting to freak out but I am glad I found this forum because now I feel like I can relax and calm down I’m like 90% sure I’m not pregnant and I do regret having a tubal ligation I would love to have another baby now that my youngest is 2! Anyway I’m glad to hear everyone’s story’s it sure does make me feel a whole lot better. And now maybe my mind will stop racing and if I keep having symptoms along with these kicks I’m going to request an ultrasound just to be on the safe side. Oh and more recently I’ve been feeling nausea ugh I hate that feeling.

  41. I’m 37 I have a 13 yr old and 6 yr old, it driiiiiives me crazy feels soooooo frickin weird, I get it veeeery often and pregnancy test every few months lol this month has been so crazy with them and I never told anyone lol, this is the first time I thought to google it I have never even heard of phantom kicks NOW! what the heck causes it seriously? I love that feeling don’t get me wrong but when your NOT PREGO it shouldn’t feel like u are ahhhhhh. I found myself smiling, nodding, and giggling reading the article thank god I’m not alone lmao

  42. This totally happens to me occasionally — but I think it’s usually gas. I remember thinking the baby oving in the very beginning felt kind of like gas — or maybe it was just the books said that (power of suggestion, etc.). My youngest is 2+. It makes me slightly nostalgic when it happens. I don’t think I’ll ever be pregnant again, and it is pretty amazing to have another little being growing inside of you (setting aside all the downsides for the moment…)

I’m not getting bigger like I would if I was pregnant. And I do t have gas. So what is this feeling and what can I do about it? Help! I want to be pregnant with my fiances child so bad but in almost a year of trying we haven’t gotten pregnant yet.

  45. I’m 6.5 months postpartum and I have been feeling these “phantam baby kicks for a few months now. I felt them again tonight, several in a row, and started getting a little concerned and started googling it. Glad that I’m not alone, but still wondering what the heck is going on. πŸ™‚

  46. Holy smoke! I am so glad that I found this! The last three months have been terrible for me. these kicks are getting stronger and stronger. I could be right in the middle of doing something and I will jump in surprise. For a moment there I thought I may have been holding an alien child. I have a 6 a 4 and a 2. After my last I got my tubes tide. This craziness is very distracting. Going to see my doc to check for sure. Thank you for having such a supportive sight!

  47. I definitely feel all the time. During ovulation and periods. I’m mother of four 20, 14 and 5 year old twins boys! I still feel them it gets on my nerves I can actually see my shirt move! I know I’m not pregnant! I 41 married with no desire to take the road to motherhood lane. I enjoy my sex life with my husband of 21 years! Just got my mirena out after a five year run. I’m really starting get my sanity back! Plus I’m losing that last 30 lbs I could never get off and my hair is really growing! Thx to Lady Comp and Caya one size fit all diaphragm! Both very popular in the UK where natrual birth control are highly promoted! Maybe it’s side effect of my mirena being out who knows!

  48. My son is nearly 13 (I didn’t know I was pregnant with him until being 3 months along). I’ve been feeling random kicks and it is always has me paranoid that I am pregnant (even with being on birth control). Since I know the birth control are not 100%, I have this fear I am pregnant and don’t know it. I take the pregnancy tests to relieve my mind when I have gotten so concerned about it. I don’t know what causes the feeling of movement and kicks in my stomach but it would be nice to relieve my mind when it happens. Thanks for you post, I am glad to know I am not the only one.

  49. My youngest is 5 and I have been having phantom baby kicks if that’s what you want to say for about 2 months now. I can sit and watch right below my ribs move in little bumps here and there. Like my 3 pregnancy’s it usually happens after I eat. Not sure what’s going on cause I’m lactating too and after I had my little girl I had a tubal done so my question is what and why could this be going on ??????

  50. I am so glad I found this website! My daughter is 15 months (as of yesterday!) and I just started getting these phantom kicks yesterday. They were so strong they actually woke me up and took my breath away a couple times! My husband thinks I’m crazy, especially since I took an at home pregnancy test and it was negative but I can’t shake the feeling that I may be pregnant and not know it! I have an IUD and it has been HORRIBLE!!! So I’m thinking of taking it out soon but I am also wondering if part of why it has been so horrible is that I’m actually pregnant and don’t know! I’ve been feeling sick and have had cramps similar to what I had when I was first pregnant. What freaks me out even more is that my sister was one of those women who did not know she was pregnant! She didn’t find out she was pregnant with her third child until she was almost 6 months and felt the baby kicking and actually saw her tummy move!!! Ahhhh!!! I’m going to wait a while before calling my doctor in case I’m just crazy!!! lol So glad there are other women who are experiencing similar movements!

  51. I don’t know if i’m pregnant, i never had kids before and never went to any kinds of surgery. But i can always feel those phantom baby kicks in my stomach one week after i had my period last sept. 25, 2014. Now its already a month and i already had my period last oct. 23, 2014 and still i can feel those kicks. I really don’t believe i’m pregnant. Aside from feeling dizzy sometimes and a little bit of mood swings, i don’t have any symptoms of being pregnant.

  52. Thank goodness I found this. I have been feeling these baby kicks for the last few months. I have three children age 16, 8 and 4. I have had my menstrual cycle all three months and have taken several pregnancy tests, all of which were negative and each with a sigh of relief. One thing that has stood out to me as I read this is most if us have had several children so I’m guessing it’s more common in women that have had multiple pregnancies. I wish it would stop even though I would have more children If I could afford it or if I was younger as I just turned 36.
It is a freaky feeling and makes me wonder every time.

  53. I am 40 and my youngest of 6 kids is 2 yrs old. I have just in last couple days had like phantom baby hiccups in my lower abdomen like when you are late in pregnancy and the head is down. It’s has been very weird. And it’s not all the time it’s sporadic when it happens. Not sure why it has Just been out of blue. Kinda confused about. My husband is worries my body is telling me something is wrong but there is no pain associated with it. I f eel better knowing I am not only one.

  54. I am 29 years old and I have 4 children. Their ages are, 9,6,5,4. I had my tubes tied right after our daughter and only until recently have I begun to feel these “phantom baby kicks”. I too have taken numerous pregnancy test and received negative results. I have watched the tv show about women who delivery and didn’t know they were pregnant. I often fear that will happen to me one day. I would like to know why the body does this, but have not been able to find a true answer.

  55. I had the same feeling for a month. I had that feeling like a baby kicking but I was not pregnant. After doing research, I suspected it might be giardia. Giardia is a parasite that can spread through water. The irritation makes our intestine kinda pop, thus the baby kicking sensation. So to test my theory, I bought garlic pills. If I remember the medical paper correctly, garlic paralyzes Giardia. I took (3) 1000 mg pills twice per day for about 10 days. After the 4th day, for me, the kicking stopped. I followed through to 10 days be be sure they would die. No problems since. So I would say, give the garlic a shot. If the ‘kicking’ stops, then you know it was the parasite.

  56. My babies are 4 and 2 and for the past year I have felt this odd kicks. I am on birth control it is actually up Next November and I get these “phantom” kicks and immediately put my hand on my stomach. It freaks me out to think how can I be pregnant but I guess once you have a baby or become a mom it is normal. I blame it on the gas bubbles but they feel so real kinda scary.

  57. My son is 10 months old and I feel the kicks, but I also feel movement , my breasts hurt, my appetite has spiked, Im suddenly tired all the time, moodswings, and during sex I get pained like my last pregnancy. I don’t know what to do.

  58. Krystle Lee says:

Omg! I thought i was alone! Ive took 3 pregnancy test in the past week trying to figure out why do i keep feeling and see these so called baby kicks and movements. My daughter’s are 2 and 6 months.. i tbought i was pregnant. This was such a relief.

  59. Hi. I am 34 and my little one is 4. I have started feeling these early baby movements from last 5 days and today I got my period too but these movements are getting stronger and stronger. Did my pregnancy test that came negitive. Don’t know if it’s phantom baby kicks or I am pregnant while in my periods ????

  60. I have felt them off and on for about 5 or 6 months. Along with other little weird things, random pains in my back or ribs. My kids are 14, 12 and 8. And I also had my tubes tied 7 years ago. So its very unlikely that I would actually get pregnant. I have often wondered if I was and just didnt know it. But then I have always had my period every month. Sometimes the movement that feels like kicks seem so real and are visible if im laying down.
It all seems really weird at times.

  61. I have 2 teenage kids, here lately I’ve been feeling like there’s a baby in my stomach kicking & I know there’s no way I could be pregnant cause 13 years ago I had a tub ligation, it freaked me out, of course I knew that there was no way possible that I could be pregnant. To a point it’d be nice if I was pregnant, cause my husband doesn’t have any children of his own, but I know that won’t ever happen.

  62. Your post is exactly what’s going on with me. All the sudden I started feeling little movements that made me panic but I know I’m not pregnant. It’s very stressful but I try to just relax. And it seems like the more I think about the non-existent baby kicks the more it happens!

  63. Yep I sure do…hense the reason I searched google and found this site! lol Makes me miss being pregnant sooo badly! I know I’m not pregnant and we’re having to wait do to job and financial circumstances but gosh as if I didn’t want another one badly enough these “kicks” really are not helping!! My daughter is 27 months old yet at times they feel just like when she was in there. I like the phantom limb comparison. Otherwise it makes me wonder if what I felt when I was pregnant really was her!!

  64. My son is 4 now and I have had that same fear! I have recently had abnormal monthly periods, or no periods at all sometimes, on top of phantom kicks. The dollar store pregnancy tests are my best friends. I wonder what could be the cause.

  65. I had my baby 3 months ago , and i feel them all the time. And I have not been sexually active since I found out I was pregnant so I know I’m not, but somehow I’m still scared to sleep on my tummy.

  66. I’m also scared of being pregnant without knowing it!! I recently had twins they are going to be 2 in April and the phantom kicks started I wanna say a good couple months after I had the girls. i also had a miscarriage during that time and that could maybe be another cause to this madness but they say over time they become less in some cases, well for me they are becoming more and more frequent and it’s seriously freaking me out! I don’t want to be pregnant and I’m not, but this is a nightmare!! As I’m writing this im having tons and tons of kicks and I’ve had them A LOT today. Which is why I’m here looking it up on the Internet. I hope yours go away soon. This feeling is not the business!!

  67. Yes! I have a three year old and I still have phantom kicks/flutters! I freaked out for awhile, taking extra precautions and peeing on pregnancy sticks- scaring my husband to death… But I’m definitely not pregnant. It almost reminds me of a phantom limb. I love that you called it phantom kicks because I had no idea what to describe them or call them. I do not have a fear of not knowing I’m pregnant, I don’t understand how those people don’t know, but am not looking to have another baby for awhile so it does make me wonder from time to time.

  68. Baby boy is twelve… I just felt one of those “phantom baby kicks” thought how nice will it be to have a brand new baby! Lol even mentioned it to my husband who is actually thinking about slowing down from work now that we no longer have toddlers … But it is great to hear about other women’s experience. Meaning I am simply not alone!! It would def be nice to know what causes them… Good night and thanks!

  69. Hello! I’ve been reading through all the comments and relieved to see its not just me that this has happened to. I’m slightly frustrated that nobody seems to know what it is though? I’ve got a two year old so like everyone on here, I know what a baby feels like when I’m pregnant. Or do I? Maybe all the flutters to start with we’re just wind and now I’m just associating them with a pregnancy. There is pretty much zero chance I am but these movements are freaking me out and making me doubt myself. Not nice. What happened to all of the people who have had them? Any joy in finding out what they are? I’ve got a morbid fear of finding out I’m pregnant only when birthing that I think I’d rather have an effing parasite! Haha. What’s going on?!?

  70. My only son is 6 years old and still occasionally I feel phantom kicks, even get pains in my ribs sometimes which where my boy liked to kick me while I was pregnant. Thought I was going crazy at first but now I have come to enjoy these flutters. I enjoyed being pregnant and the movement brings back wonderful memories. I had a c-section and occasionally get phantom pain at the incision site. My doctor told that might happen. It amazes me still, 6 years later, the continuing effects that having a baby has had on my body.

  71. Im so glad I found this. I started feeling this the first time 4.5 years ago a few months after i had my daughter…. It progressively decreased and went away…. But i just gave birth 9 months ago and i started feeling these fluttering feelings in my stomach… Im on the iud… But the thought of being pregnant again fresks me out…

  72. Hi ladies..I I’m 43 and had the same thing in 2013.. For one week I thought I was 8months preg. Kicks and movement..I have a 18 and 13 yr. but I still remember those kicks.. I went to the walk in and the dr did an X-ray..I had an impaction in my colon. . I was shocked and stunned.. Dr said lax and enemas would work and sent me on home..lol. Anyway, I hope this helps.

  73. I am 39 have had 6 pregnancies first 3 pregnancies ended with healthy babies. 6 years went by then I had an early miscarriage. Another 6 years went by and in October 2012 had a stillborn baby boy at 21 weeks, which was also a missed miscarriage because my body never realized he had passed away in utero he had been dead 2-3 weeks when I delivered him. Then a year later October 2013 I once again became pregnant and delivered a beautiful healthy baby girl June 13, 2014. Never had I experienced these so called phantom kicks until Two months ago. At first I dismissed them as gas, but everyday I continued to feel them to the point I started feeling them with my hands outside my belly everyday multiple times a day doesn’t matter if I’m sitting, standing or laying down I feel them. I took numerous HPT first one was negative, and let me add never have I missed any period since the birth of my daughter, I started my period, the movements continued and I took another HPT that one was very VERY faintly positive. The next morning I took another test first thing and it was negative, two weeks go by and the movements are still continuing and seeming to me becoming stronger, at times they feel as if its a baby actually rolling in me, one evening it seemed to react to my baby babbling everytime shed yell or squeal out really loud id feel the movement as if being startled by the sudden loud noise. Then the final straw for me was when my boyfriend put his hand on my belly and he too can feel the movement, that prompted me to go to the Dr. The did a urine test which of course was negative, then brought a small ultrasound/sonogram machine in and actually looked and said there was no baby, oddly even though I completely emptied my bladder not even 20 -30 minutes before the did the sonogram the tech asked me if I had emptied my bladder to which I replied yes I had to for the urine test, she showed me on the screen that my bladder appeared very full. But no baby was seen with the sonogram she was preforming at that time. Still I feel the movements day in and day out I continue to feel these phantom kicks and movements.

  74. I have them too matter fact i just had one and i googled it and found your article and i feel the same fear as u am i pregnant and i dont even know it lol its weird when i feel them my son will be two in june im not ready for another one. Everytime i go for my depo i pray im not pregnant when they do the test but the feeling continues. Glad to know im not the only one. Im feeling more relief.

I thought I was crazy! I have felt it since after my second was born. I can’t recall how long after it began, but if I was pregnant I would have had another baby already. I feel it so strong like you said sometimes I swear I see the movement on the outside and feel it with my hand. It’s insane. Scares the bejeebies outta me because I have that same fear of being pregnant and not knowing it. I have watched I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant and it’s downright terrifying. I never ever want to experience that. I am sso relieved to know that I am not the only one.

  76. I am experiencing the same thing.. had my tubes tied 6 weeks ago and had my period last week but i could swear there is something moving in there! I cant possibly be pregnant…very strange!!

  77. Wow…! Its all true.. I am not alone on this boat.!
And I got a lot of information. But now it’s too much… so. I will need to know if that stops with the garlic… and still making pregnancy home test… cuz It free king me out the idea to be pregnant and no know it !!! Gas. ? Definally not. !! I will try garlic .. let’s see it that works. It’s my last chance. I will let you know…if that was parasites.!! :/

  79. I have them ALL.The.Time. But it’s only when I’m asleep. It wakes me up in the middle of the night and I get scared to go back to sleep. It feels like baby kicks or a seizure in my stomach. So weird.

  80. I happen to run upon this page due to experiencing baby phantom kicks my youngest is 7 and yes I do

  81. It’s been nearly two years since I’ve had my son and second child and I still feel those phantom kicks. I have recurring dreams were I feel my belly moving and look down to see my stomach bulging like it used to when my kids would kick in my stomach.

  82. Samantha stone says:

I have 3 kids 14,13,and 3. I had a tubal ligation 9 months ago and I just started feeling these movements a few days ago and im pre menopause. Its really creepy to feel these movements. Has anyone actually been to the doctors to get an answer to find out what it is??????

  84. Oh my goodness, thank you for this. My youngest is 5 and my husband had a vasectomy and and in May of this year I felt a baby flutter. I was terrified. I just had my IUD taken out in January but my husband had his surgery in October. I have been having the baby flutter since then but have had my regular periods. I was so scared that I might be pregnant and have been too scared to take a test. We have 4 kids, my youngest is just getting ready to start school and can do everything on her own so we do not want more kids. Also, I am not certain we could afford one right now. Thanks to this post I afford not longer scared to death and I am pretty certain I afford mom not pregnant.

  85. It’s a government conspiracy.
    women power unite!
I have two kids and want more. I get them a lot and secretly hope its a little jelly bean inside. But, ration over emotion kicks in and there would be no way i could be four months pregnant…..or am i? The mental and emotional battle of the ages for all women. I think despite what we all express outloud the unknown of many things in life are scary and us women always want to “know”.be brave my fellow women and push forth to the great unknown of the crazy things our bodies can, will, and have produced and overcome. *encore proceeds*

  86. This post is a reply to mamie’s post….mamie, I do hope u get this message and go see a Dr. I worry with the severe pain your experiencing you have something going on greater than phantom baby kicks. Please please go see a Dr:o( and let us know you’re OK once you have done so.

  87. Yes at age 52 and going through menopause and widowed has me horrified. Had my first relationship that didn’t work out after 4 years of my husbands passing. This is driving me insane. Happy to know I’m not alone. I have a 22 year old and a 19 year old. Would be hard to explain.

i thought i was the only one feeling there’s something kicking in my stomach!!phew!! i was so relieved hehe..because me and my husband trying to have baby again after we having our daughter 3 years ago..so my baby is 3yrs old already..its happening now the phantom baby kicks as i typing this..wheee…my period is irregular and i checked pt every now and then but it comes out negative. .so we really do hope it was positive tho..this phantom baby kicks really reminds me of the beauty of my pregnancy was…really miss being pregnant ?

  89. Good grief!! I thought I was alone. I am not trying to get pregnant. Had my daughter almost 9 years ago. 3 years ago I had the feeling of a baby kicking and could almost swear one as pregnant. I took massive amounts of pregnancy tests and even went to the doctor. But figured it was gas, I have had it off and on for years Now I am on here reading because for the last 10 days it has been crazy! I am a large woman, when I was laying down with the phone on my stomach the phone was moving with the “kicks” which is exactly what happened when I was pregnant. It is so bad I can’t ignore it and I can feel it with my hands….only in the right side. I have taken numerous pregnancy tests. I am totally freaked about being pregnant and not knowing it..mainly because I am on medication that would not be good. What is going on!!!???

  90. I’ve been feeling these phantom kicks for months. Now to the point where I can actually SEE the movement. I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old. I haven’t gained any weight and I don’t have any other symptoms. I haven’t taken a pregnancy test because I though it was intestinal spasms, but now I might just because I don’t know what else to do and I’m a little freaked out by how much movement there is, usually at night before bed. I’m currently on Mirena, so changes of me being pregnant are slim.

  91. A few minutes ago, i felt a jolt of electricity on top of my left rib. It felt as if someone has kicked me from the inside. This is the second time i have experienced this and it still freaks me out. I gave birth to my youngest son on apr 2013 and my eldest on june 2006. I only experienced this after the birth of my second. I want to believe these are phantom kicks. πŸ™‚

  92. I don’t have any kids.. Today I was at work and out of random had a weird feeling at first then felt like something was kicking my stomach from inside.. Put my hand were I felt it and it was still doing it not sure if its what you all are talking about or if I should have a pregnancy test done?… I’m sexually active…

  93. Thank you for the site! I was sitting on my couch and just felt the flutters alot of them..lol and my twins are now just six months and I was worried for a sec because I just started working out and did an six day detox ect for my gut and started taking iodine cuz of the hyperthroid symptoms in my life. Loss of hair ..easy weight gain from white sugar the thing most women in america face it seems from all this processed yummy tasting to our taste buds.. but bad for our body gunk they call food . lol..ect..ect.and stuff and I knew I couldnt of been pregnant so I was worried till I came across the site now i feel better. Knowing it seems to be a normal feeling for most I was scared of going to fast on working out since a jogged first time ( on a low speed for 10 min mile srone for me nom of eight married 10 years ..baby after baby sec set of twins you can bet my body is in need of some tlc lol..) thanks for your blog posting it helped!

  94. I have the same problems it freaked me out, i took a pregnancy test and im not pregnant. With my 2 kids i had NO IDEA I WAS PREGNANT Found out at 18 WEEKS and 23 WEEKS with mine. Was a total shock , but 2nd time was even more shocking because i only had 17 weeks to go. I had very light bleeding so no clue i was pregnant, my daughter at 23 weeks was in a funny postion and so i didnt feel her movements, she was still in a funny position at 40 weeks so i had a c section.

  95. I’m seriously having the same phantom kicks and have been for about two weeks now. I have an eighteen month old daughter and alrhough I want more kids I couldn’t handle another one at this moment. Lol! I know 100% that I’m not pregnant. I’m on my period right now. I’ve also taken several hpts and even had a quantitative hcg that came back negative a couple of months ago. I have this fluttery movement feeling anytime I’m standing still, whether I’m lying down, sitting, or standing. It’s honestly almost constant. So glad to know not the only one!

  96. My children are 20, 17, 9 and 5 and I still to this very day get phantom baby kicks. I can no longer get pregnant because I had my tubes tied 4 years ago (at least that’s what I’m told), but the phantom baby kicks are there each month before and after my period. I love them. Brings back the fond memories of my unborn babies and that feeling of bonding and nurturing.

  97. I thought I was going insane. My daughter is now 11 weeks old and the past couple of days mostly I’ve felt phantom kicks. I’m definitely not pregnant but it’s worried the hell out of me! I’m so glad I’m not alone haha

  98. Hello there i am not yet a mother , but im experiencing the same thing the cravings the excess spit the kicking is hard and all over for the past 4 and a half months please help me i am freaking out .

  99. I myself have been experiencing the same phantom kicking & movement. I am 35 with 3 kids who are now 15, 10 & 8. My tunes have been tied for almost 9 yrs now, but I would love to have another child with my husband of almost 6 yrs because he doesn’t have any & well, my 3 are so independent now. I’m a stay at home mom/ full time college student; if there’s any better time for another baby, it would be now??.

  100. I’m 24 my oldest is 4 yo and my other daughter would be three. I have a lot of medical problems from the military but I have NEVER had this happen. Believe me I’m a gassy woman and I do know it but in saying that I can never feel it until I belch or pass gas but never felt it this way I also have the mirena and it’s about three years old I took a home test and it was negative my reason for fearing is because while driving to my in laws two hours into a 9 hour drive I felt like a baby was rolling in the left side of my stomach and with my daughter passing away I broke down because I honestly felt like a baby was there. I’m terrified because I already have type 1 diabetes and don’t want to get pregnant till my sugars even out. I’m terrified to be pregnant after my daughter passed at 36 weeks in uterine I just hope any of you have advice for me so I can stop freaking out Aside from the obvious see a dr.
Jessy’s last post … Okay is … OkayMy Profile

  101. I have read a lot of the comments here. I am 60 have three girls, all in their 30’s. I still experience this sensation at times. In fact last night was the first time in a long time. I haven’t had my period in 10 years! I did have a tubal 32 years ago after my last baby. I guess it never goes away unless it’s the parasite some of you talked about. Too bad it didn’t help you lose weight.

  102. My daughter is 1.5,yrs old. I just started feeling phantom kicks like under my ribs on my right side. I can feel the spasm from the outside too. I just had a failed pregnancy a few weeks ago- if I am pregnant it couldn’t be more than a week& there’s no way it’d be up by my ribs. My body is playing a very cruel joke on me.

  103. I have them almost daily!!!! Hubby and I have been incredibly careful not to get pregnant, as we have a 1 year old at home. I thought maybe it was muscle spasms at first due to strenuous activities that I’m not used to. So I called my friend that works in a doctor’s office and questioned her, and she reassured me that it was completely normal. I’m still incredibly freaked out, I worry daily that I am pregnant since my birth control messes with my period… thank God I’m not the only one that experiences this!

  104. I am 28…have an 8 yr old 5 year old and a 4 year old. I started feeling this little vibration feeling in my uterus area a few months ago..in september..random throughout the days…..I took tests but they were all negative…..so I shook it off…..I still have my monthly periods….no way I am pregnant ..my husband had a vasectomy 4 years
I was sitting down around December 15th and felt this pressure feeling in my lower stomach area…followed by tapping ….I pulled up my shirt to look and I could see parts of my stomach moving. ..It felt just like baby! I have taken another test since then it was negative…but it’s January now and I still feel it daily…I can put music loud on my phone and put it up aginst my stomach below my belly button and I will then begin feeling movement. What the heck? I have no hard uterus, still having period, but I can’t get my stomach to move by poking around on it or playing music. It freaks me out at the moment. But when there’s no movement I feel totally not pregnant besides the bloating. My husband tells me to go to a dr, and my mom says It’s my intestines … I think it’s from a previous pinched nerve in my spine..who knows! Lol glad I’m not alone in feeling this…

  105. When I found out I was pregnant, I was 20 weeks along. Never a symptom, never expected. Wasn’t supposed to be able to get pregnant. But here I am with my 2 year old!!! Now I have started having these phantom pains, along with what feels like contractions and I’m a little worried. Hopefully its just my imagination, or my longings! I am not really sure.

  106. I have a 1 yr old that was born a yr ago and lately I’ve been feeling little kicks every time I go to lay down my doctor told me I would not be able to bear anymore kids so I don’t know what it is

  107. I am almost 43 my children are ages 24, 23 and 21. I have felt these kicks and sometimes just flutters for about 20 yrs. I loved being pregnant and miss it all the time but, I am in no way now nor have I possibly been pregnant for this long, lol. I had my tubes severed and burned right after our youngest son was born back in 1995 and with in just a year these feelings came about. I had seen my OBGYN for it way back when and a few times since as they come and go and everything checks out a-okay so far. It is not gas nor a parasite…just phantom baby syndrome. They are absolutely pain free, so if any of you are experiencing pain with these movements I highly recommend you go get it checked out asap.

  108. I am 37 and have been off my BC for about 2 years. I have never had any children but the hubby and I have been trying. I have been feeling these “flutters” for many years. I was thinking maybe I was alone, but should have known better. It seems as I skimmed these comments that I may be the first one who posted who has never been pregnant previously. I would love to know what the feelings are. I don’t think it is gas, but I am not medical doctor and I always forget to mention it to the doc when I go.

  109. going through this right now haha I thought I was alone haha but nevermind lol

  110. Courtneh says:

I actually get these feelings quite often. For me it’s in my lower abdomen just above my pelvic area, which us where I first srted feeling movement with all of my pregnancies. Its like a little flutter. The ones you feel before the baby can actually kick and move to the full extent. And if I put my hand over the area I can feel it with my hand as well. Its the strangest thing, I so thought I was alone in this one!

  111. Almost a year ago I was reading these kind of articles, along with the hundreds of comments, over and over again.
I did several hpt’s and all of them showed me a negative.
But then I tried another brand…and there it was. The sign showed up. I was pregnant!! Almost six months..

I did not gain any wait. I didn’t had my menstruation for almost two years…due to pregnancy and breastfeeding a toddler.

So….Please check again …go see a doctor. Until you know for sure that you are definitely not pregnant.

The baby is now a six month old beautiful little girl. And she’s healthy!
But I regret that I missed so much of the pregnancy.

My daughter is 6 years old though. I also have been going to the gym for about 2 years now and my now out of the blue for about a month now I’ve been feeling those kicking sensations. It’s nerve wrecking and annoying and makes me feel as if there’s a baby in there. Which there isn’t.

  115. I’m glad I came across this site.I thank God cz I was gonna lose my mind not knowing what was going on with me.all tests are negative yet the kicks are so strong for the past two weeks n I haven’t missed any period.

  116. Thank you I must try the garlic pills. I’m having and feeling the same way.

  117. IV been fixed for 7 years now and the past 2 weeks these feelings like a baby has moved inside me which cause me to grab my stomach and stop breathing cause they are hard you can see my stomach bulge out when it happens kind has me.second..Guessing if I can get pregnant but I would love to know what it could be

  118. I guess I’ll add mine to the long list. So glad to know that this is a real thing and that I’m not completely losing my mind. I’m 47 and my husband had a vasectomy about 4 years ago. I have been perimenopausal for a few years now and I think I have finally started menopause for real now. I haven’t had a period for about 5 months now. Menopause has felt a lot like pregnancy, though, so when I felt these “flutters” and “rolls” and “kicks” — I had a little bit of panic. I’ve taken an HPT just to be sure (though, I’m pretty sure that there is no way I am actually pregnant. My husband and I were pretty fertile people — got pregnant the first month of trying for both our kids — so if his vasectomy didn’t take, we would have found out before now!). My doc also gave me a urine pregnancy test too while I was in her office for a routine visit — so I’m not pregnant. But, still, it freaks me out a little. Plus, I do have the sensation now of my milk letting down which is weird (since I haven’t felt that for 12 years …). I figure it is the hormonal changes of menopause. And maybe some underlying sadness over menopause even though my husband and I decided a few years ago that we did not want any more children. But, I guess there is a difference between choosing not to have more children and not being able to have more children — so maybe it is just my body’s way of dealing with that. I thought I might be having a phantom pregnancy and was worried I was developing some serious mental condition (even though I know I’m not pregnant — so I’m not delusional). I’m so relieved that it happens to normal people and that I’m not as crazy as I feared I might be πŸ™‚

  119. I feel movement in my abdomen and pain near my ribs…the pain is on my left side.
My stomach and abdomen have taken shape…i am supposed to be 6 1/2 months. Urine test at home 2 months ago and one like a week ago and one at hospital two months ago(along with a blood test).all came out negative.
An abdominal ultrasound was taken when i would’ve been 4-4 1/2 months.. But no transvaginal one. Today negative urine. No blood test. No ultrasound. Following up with a women’s clinic tomorrow.

I do believe without a doubt that I am indeed pregnant!

  120. I have these phantom all the time. I got so concerned about them I took a test, it came up negative. My daughter is now 4 years old, I find it strange that it happens.
